GET THE SOUND THE MINIMOOG
Sampled from an ORIGINAL (non reissue) minimoog, this collection of authentic samples can be described using a conjunction of many colourful descriptive adjectives to get your inner synth geek drooling.. But we'll spare you from our lustful gearporn issues just say… It sounds big… really big.
The Minimoog Model-D is THE icon of retro analog mono synths, and a staple design paving the way for a legion of analog synth manufacturers to this day. The monophonic Mini revolutionised electronic music, and is most famous for its rich and fat analog bass tones.
Conceived in 1970, the Minimoog began as a humble lunchtime side project by Moog engineer Bill Hemsath, where he gathered spare parts from the Moog "junkyard" (I know... why does Moog need a junkyard?"), and put together the first mono synthesizer to have a keyboard attached to it.
